The Greenfield Mural, first painted by volunteers from the community in 1990, was originally the brain child of Rebecca Tippens and her friend and nationally recognized community muralist Janet Braun Reinitz, who together saw the big wall adjacent to the Veterans Mall park beckoning for vibrancy.
